Huong Viet in Erlangen

Up to now I only had appetizers, I liked the summer roll with pork, but my friend couldn't do anything with her vegitarian summer roll. I will return to the restaurant after the pandemic.

Unfortunately, I don't understand the good reviews here! I ordered a chicken in a mango sauce. The taste of the mango sauce was similar to a Uncle Ben sauce from the supermarket. Apart from the fact that the whole meal was swam in the sauce, the only recognizable taste was "sweet", probably because the sugar packet fell into the sauce during preparation in the morning. Freshness was definitely out of place here. One looked in vain for chicken in the lake made of mango sauce. All in all, a simply disappointing experience. The frozen pizza would have been the cheaper and better alternative!

The service was courteous, the prices comparatively high, but justified by the generous portions and the delicious food. You can taste the high quality. Always my pleasure .

Have had a very good experience here. This new restaurant impresses with very friendly staff, a large selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The food was delicious and large portions. It tastes much better here than at the Asian restaurant next door; the atmosphere is also much more pleasant. 😉

They have the best Tofu so far in the city. Forget all that plastic looking tofu from the supermarket this tastes so much better.

Have discovered it by accident. Food is really delicious and high quality. The prices are really cheap. The staff was extremely accommodating and we did not have to wait long for the food. Will eat here often in the future!
